Gold Ore Gravity Separation Equipment

Gravity separation equipment is one of the most common equipment in gold ore beneficiation plant. Gravity separation has the features of low cost, low energy consumption, low environmental pollution, and can be used as a general beneficiation operation or auxiliary beneficiation operation in gold ore beneficiation operation. Specific beneficiation methods and beneficiation equipment should be selected according to the nature of gold ore and product quality requirements. At present, the common gold ore gravity separation equipment mainly includes: concentration table, jigging machine, spiral trough, centrifugal concentrator and other equipment.

1、Gold ore beneficiation equipment-concentration table

Is one of the gold ore gravity separation equipment, easy to operate, can produce high-grade concentrate, sub-concentrate, medium ore and tailings at one time, as the general gold processing equipment in placer gold ore, and more auxiliary separation operations in the processing of mountain gold ore. The working principle is realized on the inclined bed with nominal, the ore mass is fed from the loading chute at the upper corner of the bed, and the water for washing the side surfaces is fed from the loading chute. In this way, the ore particles under the action of gravity, transverse momentum of water, bed for reciprocating asymmetric motion generated by inertia and friction, according to the specific gravity and particle size of the stratification, and along the bed for longitudinal movement and along the inclined bed for transverse movement. There are mainly two kinds of concentration tables, 6-S concentration table and cloud concentration table, among which 6-S concentration table is more widely used.

2、Gold Ore Gravity Separation Equipment - Jigging Machine

The jigging machine has simple structure, large productivity and strong adaptability. It is mainly suitable for separating minerals with a grain size of 30(20)~0.5mm in gold ore beneficiation. The working principle is to use vertical pulsating water flow to loosen the incoming gold minerals and sort them by density, which can discard the surrounding rocks and inclusions, restore the geological content and obtain a part of the coarse concentrate.

Jigging equipment for gravity separation of gold ores includes: BATAC jigging machine, JT5 toothed wave jigging machine, low magnetic field self-balancing medium jigging machine and so on.

3、Gold Ore Beneficiation Equipment - Spiral Chute

It can sort gold ores with grain size of 0.3~0.03mm, has simple structure, low energy consumption and large productivity, and is mainly used for rough processing in gold ore beneficiation plant. The principle is to utilize the difference in density of gold minerals in the rotational motion of the spiral generated by the inertia of centrifugal force, to achieve the separation of light and heavy minerals.

According to the type of gutters, they can be divided into fixed, I-shaped, drum, and belt-type movable.

4、Gold ore beneficiation equipment - centrifuge

Centrifugal concentrator in gold ore beneficiation operation, mainly suitable for alluvial gold ores, vein gold ores in monomer recovery, especially for the recovery of micro-fine grain size (below 0.2mm) gold particles is very effective. The principle is to use particles in high-speed rotating flow centrifugal force inertia increases, not only can speed up the gravity separation process, but also can reduce the lower limit of the recovery particle size, and heavy beneficiation media can be combined to improve the sorting accuracy.

Centrifugal concentrator can be divided into centrifugal disc separator, SL type continuous discharge centrifugal concentrator, MCS centrifugal concentrator, KELSEY centrifugal jigger, SIL water jacket gold concentrator and so on.

In addition, heavy media hydrocyclone is also a gravity separation operation commonly used is one of the equipment, but generally will not be used in gold ore beneficiation operations.
